I am a 28-year veteran of the local DJ and special event industry. In 1996, I began DJing for one of the areas largest mobile DJ companies. After a few years, I had nurtured outstanding growth for the company. At our peak, we employed over 25 DJs with the ability to perform at dozens of events per week! We were on the preferred vendor list of virtually every country club, hotel and banquet venue from Raleigh to Chapel Hill. I was a board member of NACE (National Association of Catering Executives) and a charter member of the Triangle Bridal Association and the Triangle DJ Association.
After many years of attending bridal shows, managing dozens of playlists simultaneously and spending thousands on media advertising, I felt it was time to scale back the operation. In 2003, I parted ways with the 'Mega DJ' business model, and formed a smaller DJ and special event production company. This time around, I promised myself it would be manageable and efficient. There is too much that can slip through the cracks when you have too many irons in the fire.
From a business perspective, growth is great. The more DJs you employ, the more events you can do, and the more profits grow. But, from a customer's perspective, it is not as grande. You deserve one-on-one attention. You also deserve the best service and the best DJ. Trust me, it is impossible to maintain only the highest level of service when someone other than yourself is 'out there' performing.
After working both sides of the fence, I now know that I can serve my customers with 100% attention to detail and with 100% confidence of performance quality. With 25 DJs, I could not guarantee a perfect event. Now I can!
Over the years, I have DJ'd over a thousand events from Wedding Receptions, Mitzvahs and Corporate Events, to College, Pool and Theme Parties. I have performed professional voice overs, MC services, soundtrack work, and I have minor film and TV appearances to my credit. A musician since the age of 6, I write, record and produce original music in whatever spare time is available.
Currently, I operate Ludlow Real Estate Group, a successful local real estate company. I am also the President of a volunteer group, Citizens Assisting Police In Apex (CAPA) - an organization dedicated to serving my local community with pride and integrity.
I live in Apex, NC with my wife, two boys and our dog, Zeke.
