• About Drew

  • With over 30 years of experience in the DJ and special event industry, I have performed at more than a thousand events across the Triangle.

I began my career in 1996 with one of the area’s largest mobile DJ companies. Within a few years, I became a partner and helped grow the business to over 25 DJs, performing at multiple events each week. We were a preferred vendor for many of the top country clubs, hotels, and event venues from Raleigh to Chapel Hill. During that time, I also served as a board member of the National Association of Catering Executives and was a charter member of both the Triangle Bridal Association and the Triangle DJ Association.

As the company grew, I began to see the trade-offs that come with scale. Larger operations can handle more events, but they often lose the personal attention and consistency that clients deserve.

In 2003, I made the decision to step away from the “mega DJ” model and build a more focused, client-centered business. My goal was simple. Deliver a higher level of quality, reliability, and attention to detail for every client.

That decision still defines how I operate today.

When you work with me, you are working directly with the person responsible for your event from planning through execution. There are no handoffs, no guesswork, and no uncertainty about who will show up. This level of consistency and accountability is difficult to achieve in high-volume DJ companies.

Over the years, I have performed at weddings, mitzvahs, corporate events, college functions, and private parties of all kinds. My experience also includes professional voice-over work, MC services, soundtrack production, and appearances in film and television. Music has been a lifelong passion. I have been playing since the age of six and continue to write and produce original material.

Outside of DJing, I am also the Broker-in-Charge of Ludlow Real Estate Group and serve as President of Citizens Assisting Police in Apex, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting our local community.

I live in Apex with my wife, our two boys, and our dog, Zeke.
