Choosing a DJ for your event can be quite a daunting task. From budget considerations to the music selection, it can get complicated and overwhelming.
You'll spend the majority of the time at your event interacting with your guests. The last thing you need to worry about is your DJ showing up late with no clue what to do.
That is why it is so important to make sure your DJ is not only experienced, but reliable and professional. Make sure your DJ knows how to perform to a variety of people in a variety of situations. Will your DJ play the songs you want to hear, or will he/she play obnoxious and loud music? Will he be kind and considerate to your guests? Can he/she be trusted when your special day or your reputation is on the line?

I am a 28-year veteran of the local DJ and special event industry. In 1996, I began DJing for one of the areas largest mobile DJ companies. After only a few years, I had nurtured outstanding growth for the company. At our peak, we employed over 25 DJs with the ability to perform at dozens of events per week! We were on the preferred vendor list of virtually every country club, hotel and banquet venue from Raleigh to Chapel Hill. I was a board member of NACE (National Association of Catering Executives) and a charter member of the Triangle Bridal Association and the Triangle DJ Association.
