    Choosing a DJ for your event can be quite a daunting task. From budget considerations to the music selection, it can get complicated and overwhelming.

    Don't forget that the majority of the time at your event will be spent being 'entertained' by your DJ. The last thing you need to happen is for your DJ to arrive late, in jeans, and with no clue what to do.

    That is why it is so important to make sure your DJ is not only experienced, but reliable and professional. Make sure your DJ knows how to perform to a variety of people in a variety of situations. Will your DJ play the songs you want to hear, or will he play obnoxious and loud music?   • ABOUT DREW

    I am a 24-year veteran of the local DJ and special event industry.  In 1996, I began DJing for one of the areas largest mobile DJ companies.  After a few years, I became a partner, and nurtured outstanding growth for the company.  At our peak, we employed over 25 DJs with the ability to perform at dozens of events per week!  We were on the preferred vendor list of virtually every country club, hotel and banquet facility from Raleigh to Chapel Hill.  I was a board member of NACE (National Association of Catering Executives) and a charter member of the Triangle Bridal Association and the Triangle DJ Association.
